I am of the mind that if I read a book filled with generally good knowledge and apply or find one key element in it which alters my thinking than it is time well spent.  I also am of the mind that if I read a book such as the ones listed below rather than watch tv, listen to the radio or otherwise be swayed by general mass media, I have spent my time wisely!
